上海:从金茂看浦东 空中巴士的奇想

2008年夏去北京看奥运会,先在上海小住了两天。下宿在世界上最高的客饯,金茂大厦的凯锐。这家建在53-87层楼上的酒店,果然不凡,设施服务均一流。据说,旅馆的洗衣房在楼下,所有要洗的东西都得从特殊的口道(laundry shoot)从86楼扔下来。利用楼高的方便,可以看到浦东及整个上海的全景。虽然上海高楼成群,但还是新楼、旧楼混在一起,给人不太整齐的感觉。

建这么多高楼,地面的交通真叫人担心。虽然已朝地下挖掘潜力,建成很发达的地铁系统,仍不能满足城市如此高速发展的需求。站在大厦上,远眺着摩登的上海风光,我不禁突发奇想:如果以上海的高楼为立脚点,建成一个空中的巴士线,那将把上海的交通推向第三空间,或许是解决上海交通问题的一个办法。那些大楼就可以成为巴士站。后来从报纸上读到,欧洲有一家公司,用的就是这个概念,已在山东的一个地方开始建这种空中巴士。不过他们用的是三角铁架做支撑点,而不是利用现有的大楼。

(9)I know this was a bad picture. I was using Canon G9. I didn't know the concept of GND yet.


(10)Looking at the next-door high-rise from my room. That building was designed by a Japanese firm. See that opening on the top? The folk story says that it was originally designed as a rounded opening but many people complained that it looked too much like the Japanese flag. Later they changed the design.

(13)The next-door tall building (环球大厦)was still under construction at that time. The left top corner is the Hyatt building. One taxi driver told me that on daylight, this building looks like the sword of a Japanese Samurai.
