Ervin's Birthday

On January 31st 2010, I went to Ervin's birthday party. The birthday party was at Sunridge Spectrum. The birthdaystarted at 2:00 pm. When it was 2:00 pm my dad drove me to the Sunridge Spectrum. He said that it was close toChucke Cheese (where my little brother had his birthday party). One funny thing that happened was when we droveto a place my dad thought it was the Sunridge Spectrum but it was the Calgary Life Centre! My dad said thatabout 10 years ago (when I was born) the Sunridge Spectrum was at the place that the Calgary Life Centre is right now. So we had to go back in the car and drive to where the Sunridge Spectrum is right now. When we got to the movie theatre we already saw Ervin and the people that he invited. I was to last person to come! First, we were going to watch a movie. The movie was called "The Spy Next Door." But we had to wait for a long timeuntil the movie started. The movie started at 2:40 pm. When it was 2:40 pm we went to buy some food. We got somepopcorn, chocolate, and pop. Then we went to the auditorium where the movie was. We didn't need to look for seatsbecause seats were already reserved for people that went to Ervin's birthday party. I was lucky enough to sit beside Ervin! It took a long time for the real movie to start because there were lots of commercials. Soon the movie was going to start. When the movie started we started eating our popcorn. The movie was about a man named Bob Ho (Jackie Chan) who wanted to marry a woman named Gillian who had 3 children. Soon Gillian had to go to the hospital to see herfather since he was sick. So Bob Ho had to take care of all three children! Wow!!! He had to drive them to school,make breakfast, lunch, and dinner for them, and lots more stuff. And boy it was hard because the kids didn't like Bob.The children's names were Laura, Ian, and Farren. Soon Bob revealed his secret that he was really a super spy and lots of Russians were trying to capture him. Soon Gillian called and Bob told her that he was a super spy. When Gillian came back she was super mad because Bob was putting her children in danger (because Russianswere trying to kill him). Soon the Russians came to the house and attacked everybody. Even the kids were fighting with Bob's spy tools! My favourite part was when a Russian encountered Laura and asked her what shewas for Halloween. She said that she was a Cyborg and was going to blast him away! And she really did!With all their courage the whole family and Bob were able to defeat the Russians. Soon the police came and took the Russians to jail. At the end Gillian marrired Bob Ho. (Then there were bloopers of the movie at the end). When the movie was done everyone went to the party room where the real party started. There was a table and chairs for everyone to sit on. And again, I was lucky enough to sit beside Ervin. We started by washing our hands.And Ervin gave everyone some chips. The Sunridge Spectrum staff also gave us hotdogs and drinks. It was verydelicious! When we were done our food we ate cake. Ervin's mom lighted the candles and the sparklers andwe sang Happy Birthday to Ervin. When Ervin blew the candles, everyone got a piece of ice cream cake! It wasvery delicious! When we were done our cake Ervin opened our presents. Soon he opened my present and saw a card and some lego to build. I think he was very happy. Then Ervin gave us goody bags and we all said good-bye because the birthday party ended. It was the best birthday ever!
