My Speak Up Class!

My parents registered this program for me because I don't like to talk in front of many people. When I was in Grade 3 my parents tried to register me in the program but it was only for Grade 4-6. This year I finally could go, at first I didn't like it but now it turns out very exciting! My teacher was Ms. Jay, it is actually her first name because her last name was to hard to pronounce! There was only 7 students in this program. She taught us about Powerbreathing so when we are talking we don't need to take too much breaths. She also made us write a paragraph about why we were here and who had the idea of coming to this program? Ms. Jay made us record our voice using her recorder to see how our voice really sounds like to other people, when we are talking our voice sounds different when other people are hearing it than what we hear!I think that I really improved on the speaking, but I still have four lessons left!2009-11-15
