Getting the H1N1 flu shot

In my country there is a serious flu that can make people die! It is called the H1N1 flu. Today, I had to get the flu shot! My mom said that my friend Jack was already in line and waited for 3 hours. When we got to the line we said thank you to them because they saved a spot for us. The line was full of people and the line was super long!!! Me and Jack were playing our D.S's to wait, but mine was out of battery! So I watched Jack play... There was a kid named Rowan behind us and he had a D.S. too. So they played together.Soon my mom and Jack's mom were tired of staying in line and we went to a furniture store to look around. Jack andme wanted a yo-yo to play around with. Our mom agreed and we bought one. It was 10 dollars. Then, we went to Blockbuster to rent some DVD's for me and Jack's sleepover. We couldn't agree on any DVD so our mom said thatI could just look on the computer to look for some movie to watch. We went to see what spot in the line and we were way further than we were before. My mom said that she would buy some food for us because we were starving! I watched Rowan and Jack play their D.S's. I got bored! It took so long for my mom to arrive back, but when we were in front of the door my mom finally came back. We munched on everything. It was delicious! We were soon finally in the building! We figured out that we already waited for 4 hours! We had to cancel Badminton Class and Chinese School.We were finally in the building but there was still a line. A person gave us a sheet for us to put our information. We had to wait in line for a long time! My brother and Jack played with the yo-yo that they bought while I had to rest on a bench. When we were in the flu shot place we went in to find a person that will give us the flu shot. Jack's family's went to one person while my family went to another. My brother was first, he cried but didn't get to finish. Then it was me the flu shot didn't hurt as much as I expected. My mom was super scared of the flu shot, my dad not much. The flu shot left a red dot. We went to sit somewhere to wait for Jack. Strangely, Jack's family took a long time! They finally came back and said that they took a long time because the person had to explain the flu shot. We soon went out of the building and Jack went in our car. His parents said good-bye and we went to my house to celebrateHalloween. (万圣节）Continued to Halloween...2009-11-02
