My Week in Hawaii Part 2

June 4th: Today in Hawaii I went to Lahaina.It was U.S.A's International Day so there were lots of people there! It was really sunny! We went to buy some souvenirs to bring back to Calgary. Soon, it was the afternoon. There was a stand called The Wheel of Fortune, and my I spun it and it landed on Palm TreePrize. I got a Palm Tree key chain! Then, we went back to our hotel. June 5th: Today we went to Lahaina to go in a submarine under the sea! But we had to ride a boat to get to the submarine. On the way to the submarine, my dad took a picture of a volcano for a screenshot on our computer. Finally, we were at the submarine! We went underwater and we saw a lot of fish. I took pictures of them. We also saw an old anchor and a sunken ship, the ship was huge! Then we went back to the surface of the water, and went back in the boat to get back to Lahaina. June 6th: Today we went to the Maui Ocean Centre. We saw a lot of sea creatures! There were sea turtles, seastars, dolphins, sharks, whales, and more! There were was a place called Where is the Frogfish? It was tricky! But I saw the frogfish when it moved! It camouflaged with the coral! At lunch we went to a restaurant. We ordered salad, chicken wings, and seafood. But soon I had a stomach ache. We had to go back to the hotel. I rested for 1 hour. Then, it felt better again! After, we went on a tour at the Plantation Tour Centre. We went on a on a train. They talked about the fruits and I saw pineapples, avocados, mangos, sugarcanes, bananas, and more! When the tour was done we went back to our hotel. June 7th: Today was our last day at Hawaii! We went to the Natural Centre at Iao Valley. I saw lots animals and plants there. There was a big globe! After we went to a beach called Wailea beach. I had a fun time in the sand. My brother and me made a sandcastle.Soon we had to get to our plane. It took 5 hrs. and 43 mins.to get back to Calgary. I had a fun time at Hawaii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2009-07-25
