如何下载高清晰的Youtube视频
First, install Firefox Web Browser, then go to Tools->Addons, and in the search box, type 'DownloadHelper'.

Click on the button "Add to Firefox" to install the add-on. When finished installation, restart the Firefox browser. After Firefox is restarted, you will notice an additional icon next to the address bar, with three spinning colour balls.

Congratulations! You are now ready to download all sorts of videos from YouTube.

Using the DownloadHelper
Browse to YouTube http://www.youtube.com, and start watching videos. When you see an interesting video that you want to save, click on the DownloadHelper icon, in the drop down box, pick the media that you want to save.

Saving Low Resolution FLV
When watching an video in normal mode, clicking on the DownloadHelper icon will save the low resolution FLV (flash video) file.

Saving High Resolution FLV
When HQ mode is available, click on watch in HQ mode to watch the video in HQ mode. When the video is playing, click on the DownloadHelper icon will save the high resolution FLV file.

Saving MP4 Video
I have an Apple iPod Touch, which is perfect for watching youtube videos in HQ mode. To transfer a video onto iPod is extremely simple. First click on the video and play in any mode (normal or HQ), then append the text &fmt=18 to the end of the video URL. So the video URL looks like below:

When the video starts to play, click on the DownloadHelper icon, you will notice that there is a video.mp4 in the drop down menu. Pick video.mp4 and save a copy. You can rename it to something more meaningful.
To transfer to iPod is as simple as dragging and dropping the mp4 video into iTune and sync with the iPod.

to download in 720HD mode
If the video is HD, and the HD button is not showing, you can manually append the format parameter to the end of the video URL:

If the HD button is showing on the player, just click on it, and wait for the video.mp4 to appear in the drop down menu of DownloadHelper.

Please Note that HD Mp4 Videos are not playable on iPod Touch.
