Should I give up my EB1a case?

I talked about my situation to several people who had the same lawyer with  me.  One of them told me that both of his NIW and Eb1a were denied at the first place.  But the lawyer made some phone calls and then the second day, his case was approved.  He suggested me to ask the lawyer to do so.  I e-mailed my that lawyer and I didn't get back yet.  Maybe he is just a lucky guy.
