读书心得：“A Man Called Ove” by Fredrik Backman

A Man Called Ove原作是瑞典文，翻译为英文。

故事一开头，Ove去apple店里买iPad。 对科技一窍不通的他被店员心不甘情不愿的接待气得要破口大骂。 碰上这么食古不化的顾客，场景实在叫人喷饭。 Ove是个脾气火爆、个性顽固又极其龟毛的老扣扣。 他是社区过度热心的“纠察队长”，做事一板一眼，每天一大早就四处巡逻，将社区规章奉为圣旨，但凡抓到一点犯规便处以重罚，且对人横眉瞪眼，简直就是专门要和邻居们过不去，实在讨人厌。

继续读下去，外表固执孤僻、愤世嫉俗的Ove其实有着一颗柔软的心，对过世的妻子极度思念，一心要追随她离开人世。 就在他打定主意寻短之际，新搬来的一家邻居－－笨手笨脚的爸爸，热情直爽的伊朗裔少妇妈妈，两个活泼可爱小朋友，不是撞倒了他的信箱，就是要借用工具，然后又跌落楼梯，需要去医院，接着又央求他教开车，再请他看小孩。。。一时间鸡飞狗跳，好不热闹。 再摊上患老年痴呆症的好友抵抗被强制送往安养院，还有让被赶出家门的咖啡店少东家来落脚，甚至连社区的流浪猫也只得Ove收留。。。一连串的混乱和麻烦层出不穷，频频打断了他的自杀计划，本来就坏脾气的Ove被一次次搅局气的火冒三丈。

书的另一条交替叙述线是Ove成长的几个段落：母亲早逝，父亲的坚忍诚实如何影响他，可惜父亲也过世，Ove靠双手实干从16岁就养活自己，一场火灾又毁了辛苦重建的家园，幸好遇到了活泼美丽的太太，一切都那样完美之际却再度遭逢意外。。。

越往下读越发现不苟言笑的Ove先生其实是面冷心善，骂骂咧咧后还是义不容辞地帮助左邻右舍，雪中送炭，他正直、诚实、忠贞、负责。。。读者只会觉得Ove变得越来越可爱呢！

读完了我居然被感动到鼻酸落泪！ 真的很温暖很疗伤啊。

其实在我们周遭，不也有很多这种外表或者社交上不吸引人的人？ 可是一般人往往以貌取人，只被那些美艳的外表，谈笑风生的风度所吸引，在这个追求fun fun fun的时代，速食的享乐，速食的爱情，速食的成功，谁会有Ove太太的慧眼识得平凡害羞外表下一颗美丽珍贵心灵？ 放眼朋友圈子，我们是不是总被那些高调、华丽、圆滑、哗啦啦的声音吸引住，而忽略那些不善言辞的社交困难户？ 我自认如果换我作Ove的邻居，大概早就对他敬而远之。 可那邻居伊朗妈妈的热情、坚持，真是叫我敬仰。

有点悲情：
“And time is a curious thing. Most of us only live for the time that lies right ahead of us. A few days, weeks, years. One of the most painful moments in a person's life probably comes with the insight that an age has been reached when there is more to look back on than ahead. And when time no longer lies ahead of one, other things have to be lived for. memories, perhaps.”

好好笑：
“Ove feels an instinctive skepticism towards all people taller than six feet; the blood can’t quite make it all the way up to the brain.”

笑泪交织：
“I miss you,” he whispers. It’s been six months since she died. But Ove still inspects the whole house twice a day to feel the radiators and check that she hasn’t sneakily turned up the heating.”
 
已经拍成电影了，今年还提名奥斯卡最佳外文片呢。 不过书好看多了！
