Laughter at the dinner table, finally

Laughter finally at the dinner table this evening.
 

He had been a night owl in the last few days,  busy preparing for his finals and projects. Though we live in the same house, I seldom saw him more than a few minutes day, when I ask him to go out and enjoy some sunshine. I knew that he was already stressed, so I tried to avoid adding more to him.  To my surprise, this morning at 6:00 am, while I was preparing for my morning coffee, he asked me if I could prepare a cup of ramen noodle. I was more than happy to comply. Such request is far and few, almost never. He was so exhausted. 
 

 At the lunch hour, he proudly asked me I would like to watch the video he had submitted for his project. Again, I was happy to hear that, it means that he had completed his project. Most importantly, it was  a good opportunity for us to discuss how to improve and manage project time in the future. 

It was a huge relief for all of us that this semester was over.
