Orville Richard Burrell (born October 22, 1968, Kingston, Jamaica), better known by his stage name Shaggy, is a Grammy-nominated Jamaican-American reggae singer. He is especially notable for his distinctive sub-baritone voice. "Angel" is a 2001 number one hit song by reggae artist Shaggy (歌中的说者）featuring Rayvon（歌中的唱者）. It was the follow-up to Shaggy's U.S. number-one hit "It Wasn't Me". "Angel" reached number one in the U.S. for the week of 31 March 2001.The single also reached number one in the UK Singles Chart, as well as number one in Australia, making the song an international chart topper.[1] The success following the release, saw Shaggy clock up his third U.S. and fourth UK number one hit single.
