In a Restaurant

A man enters a restaurant, sits down at a table, and calls the waiter over: "I'll start with an egg mayonnaise, followed by a rare steak and chips with a green salad and vinaigrette, and for dessert, a custard flan with apricots."

The waiter is confused and asks, "How do you know today's menu? I haven't even given you one yet."

"I haven't seen a menu," the man replies, "but the menu's history is clearly written on the tablecloth."

 

在餐馆里

 

一个男人走进餐馆，坐在桌旁，把服务生叫来：“我开胃菜要美乃滋鸡蛋，正餐要略熟的牛排以及绿叶色拉和香醋酱汁，甜点则要杏酱馅饼。”          

服务生一头雾水，就问：“您是怎样知道今天的菜单的，我还没给您呢？”

这个男人回答：“虽然我还没看到菜单，但是留在餐桌上面餐布上的痕迹没有撒谎。”
