The purchasing department director of a large retailer in the Parisian region 【2】asks his secretary to bring in a representative. The representative takes a seat. The director leans back a little in his big airmchair, with a large cigar in his hand. He says in a deep, dry voice:

“Do you know that you are a little bit lucky? I refused to see twenty representatives today!”

“I know. This is the twenty-first time this morning that I've asked to be called.”
