05/13: Insight into n Intriguing Info on the SG Property Market

In the second half of April 2013, Rivergate was the most searched condominium project. A new entry to the top 10 list this issue is The Estuary@Yishun. A 99-year leasehold condominium, the development is set to obtain TOP this year. At 15-storeys tall and comprising 608 units, the condo is within proximity to Northpoint Shopping Centre and Yishun Sports Hall. Another popular project is Maplewoods in the Bukit Timah area.

At the same time, the most popular search terms on the portal are Penthouse, Tiong Bahru, Potong Pasir and Master among others.

As per searches done on the website, District 15 remains the most popular area in the second half of the month for home sales, followed by districts 19 and 9. For rentals, District 9 came up as the most searched choice followed by District 15.

As per caveats lodged with the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), a unit from Ardmore Park recorded the highest transacted price for a condo in the second half of the month. This freehold 330-unit project is nestled in District 10 and features full condo facilities. Orchard Hotel and Orchard Towers are just a short distance away.   This past fortnight, Jurong West topped the chart as the most searched HDB estate for rent, followed by Ang Mo Kio and Tampines. Woodlands again secured its position as the most popular HDB estate for sale.
