The most expensive apartment in New York City, a penthouse (pictured) occupying the top three floors of CitySpire condominium in Manhattan, is on sale for a whopping US$100 million (S$124.58 million).
Designed by internationally acclaimed interior designer Juan Pablo Molyneux, the spacious home has six bedrooms, 17 reception rooms and nine bathrooms. Located 70-storeys above the Midtown district, the property offers 360-degree views of the city, according to marketing agent Knight Frank.
The entry lobby is located on the 73rd floor and is adorned with high-end interiors and features like Versailles patterned chestnut flooring, crown mouldings and coffered ceilings. The living room, large media room, eat in chef's kitchen with butler's pantry, dining room with seating for over 20, silver closet and two additional powder rooms are also on this level.
