WeekendEntry #8 11/12/12
It just so happened that the day my brother came back for a visit, wehad to get a new router. At about five foot four, Cadet Tan is in his second year at USMA A.K.A. As he was installing Chinese for my computer, my brother noticed that our router seemed to be off, so he suggested us buy anew one. At about noon, the three guys in the family, my dad, my brother, and I, went out to Target to buy a new router. Half an hour later, the box was on the computer table ready for setup. All was finished quickly until I intervened. Trying to get all thee lectronics in the house to have internet, I caused utter havoc by accidentally deleted the Firefox on my dear mother's Mac book. A few other horrible occurrences happened that all led up to my brother's anger. For example, my mom's later lunch, my screwing around with the computers, my brother not being able to finish what he intended on the computer, my dad talking too much about commissions, insurance, and financial things, etc. When my brother was leaving, he had it. He was so fed up with everything he just took his bags and got into the car. No emotional hugs and goodbyes, no thank yous, no nothing. It was absolutely devastating. I really do anticipate that the next visit will be better than this one by tenfold.
