--i heard the piece for so many times, never know the name and the composer.
and i know the name of the piece forever, and did not know what was behind it.
so i guess it is not enough to just listen to music, to "know" it is also important.
The Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, in A minor, written by Sergei Rachmaninoff.
It is written for solo piano and symphony orchestra, closely resembling a piano concerto. The work was written at Villa Senar, from July 3 to August 18, 1934.
