为什么要经常换工作?

今天公司突然大裁员,雷奥夫了好多人,许多平时有说有笑的同事们就从此突然消失了。让人好伤感。有一些同事和我关系很好的,他们人也很nice,突然就再也见不到了,早上坐在办公室里心里感觉很凄凉。没办法,公司里上班大家都知道会有这么一天,今天也许是你,明天大概就轮到我了。有的同事在公司上班十多年了,就这么一下子解雇了。

From what I see, those who change jobs every 5 years or so have a better understanding of what's going on in the market. They pick up new technologies from different jobs and they get paid a lot more.

 

Those who stay in one company for more than 15 years are the hardest ones to find a new job. Their "loyalty" to their companies provide them with very limited skill sets. They are considered "junior" in terms of technical skills although they have too many years of experience to accept a lower paying job.
