请指教，这种情况这么办才好呢？

偶遇某公司VP。潜水员既然在找工跳槽，当然免不了套近乎、要名片、发伊妹儿。他也很专业，很快就回信说转发给了几个同事。

今天就有一个他的同事打电话来，说有一个空缺，问我有没有兴趣，顺便也电话面试了一把。随后他就把更详细的职位介绍附在伊妹儿上寄给了我。

当然是件好事情啦。可是，我在该公司网站看到另一个空缺，方向稍有不同，我更感兴趣，不过我的背景也就不那么吻合。有一点犹豫。

请问一下职场高人，怎么办最好呢？

1) 就申请这个通过电话的职位，虽然不是我想象中的第一选择；

2) 申请另外那个空缺，虽然成功的机会要小一些；另外，我还有点担心会让这位给我打电话的哥们不爽。

或者，还有什么别的好办法？谢谢！

just saw this, maybe I do not know today's market, most time I will apply both of them, there must be a process to see if you are qualified to that position, right?They shall not deny you because you apply both ..(if you are in USA) Even in other area, I do not think you can not-----they are looking for the best person qualified.
You may need develop a statement---you can contribute to their company either way, it is their choice to put you in what is the best...
