[兄妹钢琴四手联弹] Karin Lechner / Sergio Tiempo

Brought up around music from their very earliest childhood, brother and sister Sergio Tiempo and Karin Lechner started to play together as toddlers and professionally since their early teens. It is a tradition that goes back to their grandparents’ piano duo and was passed on to them through their mother and first teacher, Lyl Tiempo, who played Mozart Triple as a child with her parents and as an adult with her children, Karin and Sergio.

Both world-class soloists in their own right, the passionate and dynamic Duo Lechner Tiempo now tours the world with an exciting and eclectic repertoire that ranges from Mozart to Lutoslawski and from Bizet to Piazzolla and the tangos of their native Argentina. Among their more recent highlights are appearances with the Mozarteum Orchestra under the baton of Ivor Bolton at the Salzburg Festival and an appearance at the Oslo Chamber Music Festival. In September 2010, the duo will appear at the newly-refurbished Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires. In June 2010, the duo gave the world premiere of a new Tango Concerto for Two Pianos by Federico Jusid with the RSI Lugano conducted by Jacek Kaspszyk.
