[音乐少年天才]Alexander Prior ， 一位杰出的年青指挥，作曲家（17岁)

Alexander Prior出生在一个混血家庭, 母亲俄国人，父亲英国人，很小他就显示出对音乐的敏感，分别在英国俄国接受音乐训练。 8岁开始作曲，到现在已经有40多首作品，其中包括：交响曲，协奏曲，两部芭蕾舞，两部歌剧等等（详见下）， 12岁就在BBC年轻作曲家比赛中出类拔萃， 今年被任命西雅图交响乐团的指挥助理，下月将在伦敦指挥英国皇家爱乐乐团（LPO）并带领其他几位从世界各地挑选来的少年音乐天才为伦敦观众献上一场精彩的音乐会， 这几位音乐天才分别是：Nathan Chan；Simonepoter; Zhang Xiaoming; Michael Province。

Alex Prior (born 5 October 1992 in London, England) is a music composer and conductor, who studies at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory. In 2010, he was appointed as a member of the conducting staff of the Seattle Symphony 

Born in London to a Russian mother and British father, Alexander Prior’s passion for music stood out from a very young age. He began composing at the age of eight and he has now written more than 40 works, including symphonies, concertos, two ballets, two operas and a Requiem for the children of Beslan. His music has been performed by respected musicians and ensembles, and Alex has been the recipient of several prestigious composition awards - at 12 he was the youngest commended in the BBC Young Composer Competition. As he began piano lessons, his musical abilities flourished. He later enrolled in the junior department of the Royal College of Music. At 13, he entered the Saint Petersburg Conservatory where he is in his third year, studying composition with Professor Boris Tishchenko and conducting with Professor Alexaner Alexeev.
