N年前门德尔松的《春之歌》就是笔者最喜爱的古典音乐小品之一，后来才知道这首美不胜收的小曲出自于这部《无词
歌》。门德尔松虽然是一位天才的的钢琴家，但他的钢琴作品并不多，其中最受欢迎的大概就是这部《无词歌》了，这
是一部歌唱性旋律，又有伴奏声部衬托的钢琴独奏套曲，共8集，每集6曲，合计48曲。它们与传统奏鸣曲完全不同，都
是即兴式的、无拘无束的短曲，最短的不到一分钟，最长的也不过4分钟。它们集中体现了门德尔松的浪漫主义气质,首
首精致典雅、隽永含蓄，旋律清新优美，手法简洁精练，充满诗情画意，像是一朵朵月光下盛开的小花，清香宜人，完
全可以当作小品听。其中很多首被改编成小提琴、大提琴、长笛、竖琴等各种器乐小品来演奏，如《春之歌》、《威尼
斯船歌》、《纺纱曲》等。

在《无词歌》众多版本中，受到好评的有两张，一张是匈牙利青年钢琴家席夫的版本，另一张就是巴伦博伊姆的这张。
笔者之所以收藏这一张，是因为这是廉价双张，物超所值。以色列出生的巴伦博伊姆，既是一位颇有功力的指挥家，也
是著名的钢琴演奏家，录过不少广受好评的钢琴作品唱片。他弹的〈无词歌〉纯朴自然、轻松而富有诗意，具有抒情的
歌唱性。他那并不太亮、带有几分朦胧的音色、和〈无词歌〉中的那种浪漫情调十分吻合。
