My View of the World Around Me

This fall, I went on a long cruise trip with lots of friends. On the ship, every evening there was a dance session with live music and a charismatic singer. The starting time was right after the evening shows. I walked out from a wide range of evening shows and walked into the high-energy dance floor almost every day. I was surprised myself. I had been a person who was afraid of dancing my whole life. That was my first time to go to the dance whenever I felt like, and danced like nobody was watching despite lots of people watching! The dance floor is on the 5th deck, it is open on the 6th and 7th deck. There were lots of people watching on ever deck. Been able to dance like nobody is watch, felt liberating, and free!
How did I get here? A few months earlier, I started learning basic social dance on YouTube, 10 minutes after dinner. I “mastered” a few very basic moves. Most importantly, I learned what to do and what not to do on the dance floor. I also learned that nobody cares if I made mistakes as long as I’m having fun!
