生命的奥秘 / The secret to life

自上周以来，我一直在练习“今天是我最后一天”的理念。我感觉很好，没有什么事能让我烦心，珍惜时间，真正感觉一寸光阴一寸金。善待自己。花时间做美味的饭菜。早晨的咖啡觉得好香醇。即使是做税表，也感到一种宁静、平和和耐心。当我决定做或不做某件事时，我问自己，这是我在最后一天想做的事情吗？万事开头一点也不难，抵制诱惑变得如此容易。我感觉我对生命的奥秘有了一点儿体会。

有一位智者曾说：生命的奥秘在于在你死之前就死去，然后意识到其实并没有死亡。

I’ve been practicing “Today is my last day'' since last week. I feel so good, nothing bothers me, and I spend much less time just killing time. I treat myself much nicer. I spend time making good meals. The morning coffee seems more enjoyable. Even doing my taxes I feel a sense of calm, peace, and patience. When I decide to do or not not to do something, I ask myself, is this the thing that I want to do on my last day? So easy to make decisions and to resist temptations. I feel I have a little taste of the secret to life.

One wiseman said: the secret to life is to die before you die – and realize there is no death.
