尽管主流杂志仍然步调一致地拒绝发表我的文章，甚至他们拒绝的时间点仍然一如既往地表现出某些默契，他们的口气却似乎改变了。下面是前不久收到的皇家学会的拒绝我的文章的email。其一改之前的简单粗暴的口气，而变得前所未有的谦逊起来了：
