Spouse submitted EB2 485 in 2007/7. Then began to wait, wait, wait....
I submitted EB1 in 2009/7. All DYI. Had a one pager about my 485 in spouse\'s EB2. Paid the premium. My 140 got approved in 2 days. Just when we were thinking about how to relink my EB1with spouse\'s EB2 485, got an e-mail that my 485 was approved, but no change about spouse\'s 485. Just when we began to work on relinking spouse\'s 485 to my case, got an e-mail that his was approved.
Experience: 1. Try to submit EB2 and EB1 at the same time if you can. EB2 is way too slow.
2. Pay the premium. Even if you are asked to provide extra evidence, at least it can move things further.
3. The rest is luck, which is out of anyone\'s control. We were just lucky that they automatically relinked my EB1 to EB2 485.
Good luck everyone! Thanks for all those whom helped out here.
