Cute little   Texas  pig ...That was killed in the town of   Cut-N-Shoot  TX. We call them Piney Wood Rooter's.
There was a documentary on about a month ago about these things growing up so rapidly in the   US . They're all over   Georgia , Alamba, SArkansas,   Texas ,   Florida , and other states. You ever wonder what happens to those people that just leave home and disappear but their car is found out on a dirt road? Between bigfoot and these monsters, I think we know!
Killed by a Medical Radiology worker...What would you do if this beast was coming at you? Run for dear life? Climb a tree? Or simply get run over?

Yep......only in Texas ! We were taught to stand still because their eye sight is poor. By standing still they probably would not see you and walk right on by. And No you can't out run them!! Look at how tall the grass and weed's are. How fast do you think you would be running thru that? I don't know about Ya'll but I'm a fat slow joker that would fall flat on my face after a few step's.

Pork Chop Anyone?

Rumors of giant hog turn out to be bull

Widely circulating Internet rumors and photos of an 1,800-pound wild boar shot near Conroe are untrue, officials say.

Despite Internet rumors and widely circulated e-mails claiming a medical radiology worker shot a mammoth 1,800-pound wild boar on the eastern outskirts of Conroe, officials say it is not true.

The Courier received an e-mail – with three photos attached – stating the giant hog was shot and killed near the Lone Star Executive Airport.

East County residents have reported wild boars destroying property and crossing high-traffic areas for years.

Precinct 4 Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden said a family member e-mailed him, writing the mammoth boar’s shooting occurred in Hayden’s precinct.

“I got an e-mail about one week ago that said it (the boar) was killed in northern Louisiana,” he said. “My sister in Rockport told me she heard the boar was killed in Conroe.”

Wild hogs have been rooting up ground and destroying property in Precinct 4, but an 1,800-pound hog has not been reported in the area, Hayden said.

The real story – if true – may have a more international flavor.

According to a French hunting magazine published in 2005, the boar was shot in July 2005 in Turkey by hunters on an expedition hosted by Nature Tours.

A .300-caliber rifle was used to bring the beast down – the largest reported boar in Turkey, weighing around 781 pounds – the magazine reported.

Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden Dean Fitzpatrick said wild boars in Montgomery County are considerably smaller, and pork of that magnitude would have to be brought home from several animals.

“The largest boar I’ve seen in Montgomery County was between 300 to 350 pounds, but that’s not to say they get bigger than that,” he said. “The wild hog population in the county has expanded dramatically through the years, but the average adult hog will weigh around 150 pounds.”

Just last year, an 11-year-old boy killed a 1,051-pound hog, measuring 9 feet 4 inches long, according to stories and photos. It could be the biggest pig ever found, surpassing the mythical “Hogzilla” killed in Georgia in 2004. According to reports, National Geographic experts who unearthed the remains of “Hogzilla” believe it was around 800 pounds and 8 feet long, not the 1,000 pounds and 12-foot-long body it originally was believed.

While wild hogs can become charge when cornered, Fitzpatrick said their first inclination will be to avoid human contact, if possible.
