让猫喝水的高招

I have only one cat and I’ve never had a problem with him not drinking enough water. What I am doing are:

1)My cat loves canned food which has a lot of water in it. So when I am at home, I will feed him whenever he asks and he would eat 1-2 can every evening. I also leave enough dry food out all day long and night for him to nibble.

2)Let a faucet drip. Cats love dripping faucets.

3)Pick up the hints that cats want to drink. Whenever I get close to a faucet or I am drinking or washing or about to take a shower, if my cat jumps on and hangs around, I would offer him water. 9 out of 10 times he would drink.

4)Leave several water bowls out at his favorite places, like on the counter, on the top of wardrobe right by the window, etc. Make sure the water is always fresh and clean.

5)I even keep my own cup full of water since he likes to use whatever I use.

6)I’ve also found that it is a good idea to put a water bowl in a room away from the place the cat eats. For some reason, they seem to like the separate water bowl better than one next to the food dish.

7)The result is that his litter box is FULL everyday!
