How can I keep my posting on the first page more than one day?

This may sound like a shameless request. But here is the American spirit: your fight for what you believe in.

I'm new to this forum, but I enjoy it because it is a well-organized and actively-participated one. Though new to the forum, I'm not new to a lot of the topics that are discussed here. I like to share with the like-minds in this forum my own thoughts and experience. Last night I wrote up a posting "Fit in the American main-stream society or embrace the main-stream culture?", though it's not any masterpiece, it has some of my hard-earned experience and lessons. And I truely want to share it with the rest of the community here. What can I do to keep my posting on the first page to give it a chance to be read and seen before it is lost in the abyss of gzillion daily postings? And help and advice are greatly appreciated.
