dining out at Ma La Tan restaurant,Dec.8,2012

We had a busy day today. First we went to North York E-excel warehouse to pick up the orders. Then we went east to Scarborough to pick up Amway's products from JoJo's place. After that, we dropped by old schoolmate Genny's house. Two little ones played together for the second time. By the afternoon, we were so hungry as we skipped the lunch. Original plan was that two families to have a late lunch together at Marcy's at Scarborough town centre. However,Genny needed to wait someone to prepare her computer so they couldn't go with us.We changed our mind to Marcy's but went to Ma La Tan restaurant at Leslie and Finch which we have tried before. We would love to have something spicy. We ordered a spicy fish in chilli sauce, a fried pig's kidney in chilli peppers, a Chengdu style spicy and sour starch noodle soup, a green onion fried pan cake. Wow, the dished were covered by red chilli peppers and sauce. Everything was so spicy. It is really an authentic Chong Qing cuisine restaurant.
