Last time I went to EX was a few years ago. This yere we brought baby to the EX!
First we drove there and found out all the parking lots were full. There was no way that we could find a spot.It was incredible! It seemed that all Torontonians came to the EX!
We went back home, then we took Go Train just in front of our home to the EX.How convenient it was.We should think about taking Go train to the EX at the first place.
There was only two stops, first Mimico station, then it was the Exbition station.Only it took us a few minutes to get there.
Althought Go train was fully packed with people like us who going to the EX,I still found a seat to sit down holding my baby.
We got off from the Go train just right at the gate of the EX.The EX ticket was $16 per person, baby was free.
People ,people everywhere, all were gathering at the EX! Mostly were families with kids.
The first stop we visited was the Food building,it was like a huge food court with all the restaurants that you could imagine.I bought a burrito, a baked and loaded potato,we finished the yummy food to recharge some energy to prepare for the walks.
We walked around in the forest of the games stands, baby watched around curiously with her eyes turning to everywhere,I guess her eyes were not enough to use for so much to see.I couldn't resist to play a few games, one was shooting the balloons which I got a stuffed pig, then shooting balls to the baskets which I got a small prize, the last game I played was throwing the hoops on the bottles, but I failed. It was fun though.
Then we bought some coupons for the rides,we tried the cable car which could take us from one end to the other end of the EX in the sky, like a skyride.Aaron put baby on his lap and here we went,up ,up in the air,we saw the whole area, all the fun activities, and the BMO field was holding a soccer game,in the horizon to the south was the blue water sinking into the same color sky. What a bird-eye-view of the EX.I loved it,even baby loved it, she watched the incredible views excitedly, she was not afraid to be so high. What a brave baby!
After the ride,we visited two buildings, one was the Farm,we saw all kinds of animals, pigs, piglets, goats, cows, ostrich, etc, and the bees and honeycombs, the animals were well kept and fed by their farmers.
Another building we visited was the Crafts,Arts building, there were so much to see there, the jewels, drawings, neat home decorations, home made crafts,scupltures..etc.
There were more, but we just couldn't go,we were tired already. There were so many performances on many stages scattering in all the differents places that we couldn't visit neither.
A few hours went by,it was getting dark,we took the free EX Express back to the Go train station and back home. I would say we need to come back again.
