On every Monday me and baby are going to Feeding with Love program at LAMP,today there was no exception.
We were late when we got there. Today's topic was Stress.
Lots of mothers would feel stressed out when caring the new born babies day out and day in. It was normal to feel overwelmed and stressed. How to deal with stress? Everyone discussed different ways of reducing stress with the prompts from the RN.
There are lots of ways of releasing stress e.g.talk to someone, exercise, yoga, take a walk, listen to music, read a good book, have a hot tub bath, have a break from the baby,go out for a movie or dinning out with friends or families, travel, crying, ask for help, delegate tasks to someone else, laugh more, being humours, making jokes, treat yourself, socializing, having good friends, cleaning up house,outings,etc...and there are some other ways that are not that healthy,e.g.eating,shopping,drug,smoking,blaming,complaining etc..
Are you stressed? What do you do when you stressed out? For me, keep a good social network,e.g.having my friends' support are very important,to have my friends' around,I feel I am not alone. And also thinking in positive way is good help. Think in this way,Thank God , to bring me such a beautiful, healthy baby that I eager to have, thank you to give me such a precious gift..
I am spending every moment happily with my baby. I am enjoying her so much , maybe that is why I am not much stressed out.
