Bernanke will just need political cover (WalterBearkite)

Heard today that the 5 largest brokers..	WalterBearkite	NEW 8/30/2007 6:02:32 PM
and3 largest banks in the US combined have over $4 trillion in derivativesmarked to MODEL with essentially no market to trade in. This is 10times total equity. This lack of liquidity which is contributing to thehousing crisis is creating a wall of deflation which will have to bemet with rate cuts and a mountain of newly created money. Bernanke willjust need political cover to do so which in my opinion will be afalling stock market. He doesn't want to act too early and give theappearance of helping out favorites.
