How to pre-wire surround sound system,
I want to prewire my living room with surround sound, my simple plan is to buy 100 feet monster cable, four DAYTON WP-4B WALLPLATES (two on each wall). Then run the monster cable through the ceiling, connect to 2 wallplates on each opposite wall. The front speaker (3 plus subwoofer) will connect to receiver directly, the side of surround 4 speakers will connect through wallplates. In this way, it can accommodate 5.1, 6.1 or even 7.1.
I would like somebody experienced in surround sound give me some advices on my plan. Thanks,
