A Little Conversation

One day, my five-year old son Ryan doesn't want to do his homework. Annie, my ten-year old daughter, was trying to persuade him. Sitting on the stair, they had a little conversation.

Annie: Ryan, do you want to do something good to the society in the future?

Ryan: I want to be a police!

Annie: Then you have to do your homework. You can't be a policeman if you don't do well on your kindergarten homework. Go do your homework!

Ryan: Ok.

Then,Off he went!

I was amazed to see this lovely scene. The interaction between a girl and her little brother, the maturity a ten-year od showed and the innocence of a five year old boy displayed touched my heart.
