My son is in one of these High schools (Houston), both school in Houston are so call Magnet school, you have to apply in G8 in order to get in. So it is not fair to compare them with the non-magnet school.
BTW, I do not think the school my son went are so good. (though he is doing fine - top 10%) The only advantage is they had 4 yrs. of medical related training.I wish they would have more organized activities for the teens.
