Talk on tip of a mountain

After I sent Amy to her school, I missed a bus. The next bus will come in about 10 to 15 minutes. I just walked along the road to catch a bus whenever it comes. I do not want to stay at a bus stop and wait there for 10 to 15 minutes. I could use this time to walk, excercise and practice.
When I was walking down the road about 5 minutes, I saw a old lady who was waiting for the bus, the same bus I wanted to take. I met her before at this bus stop. At that time we talked for a while, possibily about 10 minutes or so. She told me that she is teaching ESL at  the university. She is teaching English to foreign students, scholars. I talked about my stuttering problem. She recommended me to see a speech language pathologist. I explained that it might not help too much. I also explained to her that to see a speech language pathologist is to costly. I told her that I have been in the States for about 10 years. She told me that I need to work on my English. At that time, she is not so friendly. She complained to me that my voice is to lound when I am talking. I may spit sometimes. I feel not so good at that time; however, I think she gave me very good recommendations. I should keep working on my speech and try not to use too much force. I feel that if I do not need to use force when I am speaking, I will have less problem.W
When I saw her at the bus stop this morning, I said, "Hi, Good morning" to her. She replied very friendly. She asked me how life is being. I told her that life is good but very hard. Then I explained to her that I am getting up very early in the morning to do excercise, to practise speaking. She got interested in my morning excercise and asked for details. I told her that every morning I get up at 5:30 am and go to a nearby park to run, to read and to talk. She told me that this is very good. She told me that when she was in Poland, she was learning French. There was not much chances to meet people who speaks French. Her mother told her that if you want to learn Friech quickly, you should go to top of a highest mountain, or tips of a highest temple to speak in French. I am doing what her mother told her to do long time ago. It is amazing that our thoughts sometimes are so similar even though the great differences in personality, culture, and environment.
