In mother's mind, I am always the same

Today, I called my parents. I am preparing their visiting documents. I am explaining to them what they should do. What documents they should prepare. I talked more than one hour. With newly gained fluency in speech, I feel that I spoke fairly well. I showed some stuttering but not a lot. Several years ago I could not talk to my mother and father much on the telephone because of the stuttering problem. I respect them and awe them, so I do not have a position for myself. I was very nervous to talk to them on the phone even though they are the best, and caring and devoting parents. They never ask anything for themselves. What they do for their whole life to take care of kids, for kid's progress.
I talked about my stuttering to my mother for a while. How the speech impediment influenced my life and work and so on. When we finished talking, I asked my mother if I stuttered today. I expected my mother to say the I have greatly improvem my speech. However, my mother surprised me a lot. She told me that I was still stutter. At first I feel a kind of bad. After a while, I reallized the truth "on mother's mind, I am always the same, no mater what I am, no matter what achievement I got, no matter I am poor or rich."
