(description of the room will be added later).
What impressed me is the hierarchy system of Tae Kwan Do so is Karate, Aikido. They have the reward system you go from lower level to higher level, which can be awarded by different color of belt, stars and bars on the uniform, which assembles the military ranking system. This encourages a lot of students join the type of martial art classes and the fee is sky rocketing. While Tai Chi is more internalizing, did not build up such hierarchy ranking and rewarding system, maybe that is why even though it is very beneficial to people, but not so widespreading compared to other ones in US.
My son is very excited to get his yellow belt. He showed to his friends in daycare and had to sleep with it too. Kicking and punching become his hobby, and he signed us as his faithful audiences with applauses and smiles no matter how busy we are. For an energetic boy, Tae Kwan Do is definitely doing him some good: posture, discipline and obedience. Even the price is high, still feel it worths it.
