Finding Philippe Hirshhorn on youtube is just one of those great moments.
Have heard his playing over the years, continued to be amazed at his artistic sincerity along with a sense vulnerability, which makes his art uniquely appealing and great.
He won Queen Elisabeth Competition, over the favorite Kremer. But he never received great international recognition, which is unfortunate for music fans.
Among his students, is Janine Jansen.

他的天赋是高.头一次听他演奏,就是上面sonata里第三乐章,惊为天人.
Maisky说他是超越世尘的,正合适.
至于他的仕途,中国人会简单地归结为命,这样我们也不用去思索了 :)
