1）洪水过后，挪亚一家和所有活物出方舟，神与人类立约。“神说，我与你们并你们这里的各样活物所立的永约，是有记号的。 我把虹放在云彩中，这就可作我与地立约的记号了。”
一下是灵修版注释：
9:8-9:17 挪亚步出方舟，踏足于一片死寂、了无生气的世界，但神跟他立约，他的应许叫人放心：（1）他不再用洪水灭世；（2）天地还存时，季节也会如常变换；（3）雨后有虹出现，作为神守约的记号。今天，地上的秩序和四时仍保持著，雨后的彩虹更提醒我们神是信实、守诺言的。

2）挪亚醉酒犯罪，儿子含羞辱父亲，遭耶和华神诅咒。
3）挪亚的三个儿子生养众多，遍布全低，各立支派邦国。

马太福音 4:12-4:25

1. I heard that Shem(闪）is the ancestor of Asian people. And this matches Chinese ancient legendary. Is it true?
2. Have same question about Canaan. It seems in the Old Testament, sons have to burden father's sins.

Q:Just wondering what the people were doing in the ark for about a year.It would have wasted their lives if they had done nothing except eating and sleeping:)

"Cursed be Canaan!
The lowest of slaves
will he be to his brothers."
--Canaan didn't do anyting! Why "Cresed be Canaan"?
