Dave was out of vacation time, so I decided to go to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur to see my high school friends, and then go to Thailand to do some sightseeing on my own last November. But the political unrest in Thailand caused a last minute itinerary change. I had to forgo my ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok, and buy a ticket at the Kuala Lumpur airport to fly to Tokyo instead. Details to come. So the final itinerary was:
Day 1/2: Fly to Singapore.
Day 3: Arrive in Singapore in early morning. Singapore sightseeing.
Day 4 - 5: Singapore sightseeing.
Day 6: Go to Kuala Lumpur by bus. Kuala Lumpur sightseeing.
Day 7 - 10: Kuala Lumpur sightseeing.
Day 11: Fly to Tokyo.
Day 12 - 15: Tokyo sightseeing.
Day 16: Fly home from Tokyo.
1. Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Merlion, Singapore.
2. Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur.
3. Delicious sushi in Tokyo.
