Party Time

Over the weekend, I had 8 kids and 11 adults come over for a very informal gathering.Originally I was worried that there was not enough space to accomondate so many people. But to my surprise, it turned out quite ok.
I moved a futon into living room to create more seatings and then opened up all the bedrooms for the kids to play. Girls played in one room with the little kitchen for some time, and boys stayed in J's room most of time for the board games. Parents were chatting in the living room.
I put one of Sandy's cds as background music.
As far as food concern, there were some kids snacks, fruits, soft drinks, wine, and ice cream. Unfortunately some of the Daddies are on diet, so I still had quite a lot left overs.Or maybe they just did not really  like the food. :-)
We were even able to get some group pictures.
All the kids were good kids, they played very well together, no fighting, no fuss at all.
My little J was so excited that he even wrote a small article in the school about this gathering.

Even one enjoys social activities once in a while. It is always nice to see the old friends, talking about those old good days.
J and I are no exception.
