生命可贵，安全第一

        杨旭东，一个贴心的丈夫、慈祥的父亲、孝顺的儿子、可信的朋友、热情的邻居、成功的企业家，这样一个几乎完美的人，在瞬息之间驾鹤西去，一场突入其来的车祸夺走了他的生命。

 
 

        追思会上，作为朋友的我，肺泡里像塞满了棉花，堵得难以呼吸，眼泪止不住地流。真的很难想象老杨的妻子儿女以及兄长家人心中之痛有多么地深重。

 

        老杨的为人让我们感动，老杨的事故给了我们一些警示。
 

1.   
买车一定要首选安全系数高的，车身重，有四轮驱动的汽车，尽量避免小型日本车。今天又听专家推测，因为全球变暖的趋势和地球运转的特征，北美地区今后将会面临更多的恶劣的天气。冰天雪地里开车，安全实在是太重要了。
 

2.   
因为自己有过一次在高速公路上开车打电话而险遭撞车的经历，我和家人时常互相提醒“不要拨打和接听电话！”分心可以酿成大祸。
 

20年前一个智者曾经告诫我们：“宁可在生命中浪费掉一分钟，绝不可在一分钟里浪费掉生命！” 我和家人常常以此理念作为自我提醒。为了自己，也为我们的亲人，谨以安全为重。
 

3.   
生命是宝贵的，也是短暂的和脆弱的。我们必须珍惜自己，珍惜我们所拥有的一切。尽情享受和家人在一起的每一分光阴和每一分爱，更加珍重朋友的情谊，经常来往，互相照顾，有难同当，有喜同乐。

At a friend Mark Young's memorial service, I felt very sad. My lung filled with cotton that I could not breathe well. Cannot imagine how difficult it could be to his family members. 

 

We should remind each other often to stay safe and enjoy life. 

 

Please quit talking/texting and driving. Nothing is more important than our live. 

 

"You can waste a minute in live, not live in a minute". This philosophy was from a wised man. In 20 years that has being stocked in our mind. Once in a while,  My husband and I are reviewing this philosophy for a self-reminder. Stay safe for ourselves, as well as for our loved ones. 

Life is short and very fragile. We have to take care of each other and ourselves. Enjoy the love of family, cherish everything we have, and precious friendship. We should host more parties with family and friends, have more fun together.
