At BLS-FCCDC* Anniversary Party (4.8.2007), there were many ladies in blue dresses flowing on the dance floor like beautiful butterflies flying in the floriferous spring field. A poem was written to commemorate the “butterfly wing production”. When the lady’s dresses needed to be transformed from the Tangle style to American Waltz style in a timely fashion, many individuals in FCCDC contributed their time and talents to design and make the dress decoration-“butterfly wings”. Accompanied by the gentlemen in elegant black tux shirt with white bow tie, the ladies in blue dress with the wings appeared especially beautiful. The American Waltz was one of the most graceful performances in FCCDC history.
The Butterfly Wings
Planning, designing, shopping, discussing and sampling
So many activities happening in the dress decoration;
Measuring, cutting, sealing, modeling and imaging
So many persons working on the wing production;
Flying, displaying, twinkling, spinning, amusing
So many “butterflies” signifying the spring's procession.
