It was late in a cold New England winter night, after my dance group’s performance, I came out from MIT Student Center. ED-one of FCC (Friends of Chinese Culture) dance group member insisted to walk with me to my car. Walking on the empty street hardly seeing my car that was parked far, far away down the road, knowing the recent robbery cases happened in the Cambridge, I had no fear at all. To have ED walking beside me as a brother, protecting me from any possible attack, or simply providing me with strong mental support, I felt so warm. I said: “It is not cold at all.” ED replied: “Yes, we have generated a lot of heat from dancing.” From deep inside of my heart, I knew the warmth I felt that was not only generated by the hard working muscles, but also generated by the precious friendship.
