亚当也是平常人----这样一切就真相大白了。 他并非为了要苹果而要苹果。他之所以要，是因为它是颗禁果。现在毒品能够牟取暴利，就因为它是违禁品。
Adam was but human------this explains it all. He did not want the apple for the apple’s sake. He wanted it only because it was forbidden.

知不知道亚当是路德教徒？只有路德教徒才会站在一位裸体女人身边还有心思吃苹果。
Do you know Adam was a Lutheran? Only a Lutheran would stand next to a naked woman and eat an apple.

罗密欧幸亏要爬上阳台。如果朱丽叶住在一楼或者是地库，罗密欧得到的乐趣就没那么甜美了。话说回来，他们偷吃禁果的机会更多更容易些。
Romeo had to climb up that blessed balcony. If Juliet had been roomed at ground level, or living in a walk-down flat, the pleasure won by Romeo would never have been so sweet.

亚当：“夏娃，你爱我吗？”
夏娃：“舍你其谁？”别无选择的时候只好将就了。
Adam,: “Eve, do you love me?”
Eve: “Who else?”

夏娃一吃了智慧之果，赶紧去拿遮羞叶子。女人一旦有了思想，第一个念头就是要新衣服。所以时装行业永远不会过时。
As soon as Eve ate the apple of wisdom, she reached for the fig leaf. When a woman begins to think, her first thought is of a new dress.
