How to Prune Knock Out Roses

1. When?  Early Spring when break dormancy (after hard frost is over, about late April).
2. How?  Clean dead canes and branches, thin at the center, and cut down to about 18" height (make all the roses in the bed the same height).  Sterilize pruner with 70% alcohol or hot water.

When dko has hips, deadhead the hips.
