Honey Weekend - By Connie (图)

As for our anniversary honey weekend, we did not plan much before the trip.  Both of us are against "Form over Substance". So we got on the car like we set off for any other trip.  But now, I would say it was definitely a trip we will remember and cherish all the time.  

Perhaps there's nothing special or nothing huge to speak out, but it was those small things at present and in the past that all factored in and mounted in this trip:   beautiful autumn scenery, tranquil country atmosphere, some laughter, some conversations, some xxx, eating together, walking hand by hand, having difficulty to locate a spot, commenting on TV programs, taking pictures, etc. ,  which made us perceive a new level of passion and intimacy.   I remember at several moments, I said to myself : it is perfect, it is perfect.  

There's an ecstasy I experienced in front of a calm lake.  The lake was half surrounded by a very colourful mountain, sitting there like a huge oil painting.  It was so perfect that adding or removing one colour just make it less beautiful.  The mist spreading on the lake made you feel you can breathe in the beauty.  We were standing there happily, so grateful to life and to each other.   That moment was all over the sky and all over the mountain.

One thing in particular maybe  that Vincent received Telus job offer over phone on the last day of our trip.  On the way back home, I was driving,  Vincent was snoring in the car, a thought suddenly emerged: we do need some special events to mark our humble life as long as they are natural and with love.
