Top 10 'Clean' Countries in Asia-Pacific

Transparency International is an international graft watchdog operating out of Berlin.

In the Asia-Pacific Region the top Six countries are:
10.  Thailand  - #63 overall

9.   Malaysia  - #44 overall

8.  South Korea - #42 overall

7.  Taiwan - # 34 overall

6.  Macao - #26 overall

5.  Japan - #17 overall

4.  Hong Kong - #15 overall

3.  Australia - # 9 overall

2.  Singapore - #5 overall

1.  New Zealand - Tied with Finland and Iceland for # 1 overall

New Zealand's rank above Singapore surprises me, but only because I am pretty stupid about New Zealand.

However, Singapore's reputation as a 'fine' city is well-known.
