China Announces Third Nuclear Power Plant This Year

China Nuclear Engineering and Construction Corp. along with three other Chinese investors have announced the third plan this year to build a nuclear power plant.

Hunan province announced plans for one plant in Yueyang and another in Taohuajiang.

This third plant will have six 1,000-megawatt reactors and be located in Rushan, Shandong province.

The completion date is set for 2015.
